Zurich shopping

Zurich hotels

The main shopping area is near the train station. Stroll down the 'Bahnhofstrasse' shopping street towards 'Paradeplatz' and the lake. The Niederdorf on the left side of the river has cheaper places to shop and eat and fun to wander through the narrow lanes and view houses dating back to the 14th century.

Zurich shopping

The Bahnhofstrasse starts at the station "Hauptbahnhof” and goes down to the lake. One of the most exclusive and expensive shopping streets in the world with diamond rings, chocolate, fur coats, accessories, porcelain, jewellery, watches, banks, pastry shops and many exclusive brands. Lots of department stores, banks, tearooms and restaurants.

The Old Part of Zurich from " Bellevue " by Lake Zurich to "Central" across the river from the station. Many trendy clothes stores in the Niederdorf. At night the many bars, restaurants and street artists make Niederdorf an exciting centre of entertainment.

Running west of Bahnhofstrasse from the main train station with a lower range of shops and Migros, a department store.
